Yes. Alma got to ride a real horse last week at tender age of two. We randomly ran into some very nice ladies out for a hike/ride in Samuel Taylor State Forest and one of them let Alma get on her horse and even took her for a short walk. They took pictures and emailed them to us which was so kind.
Alma was totally comfortable on the horse and kept bouncing up and down like she wanted to gallop. She even grabbed the reins. She seems to have a natural affinity for horses and I hope she has a chance to take lessons when she's older. For now, it's back to the ponies at the Farmer's Market.
Not quite the same.
