Summer Bounty

Alma delights in her daily harvest.  She then makes individual salads for us or mixes everything up into an "Indian dish."  She often says when she is older she is going to cook dinner for all of us.  The menu consists of "lemon verbena cilantro nasturtium mint salad."

Alma's "Deer Garden" - a symbolic daily offering she picks and arranges for the deer in case they are hungry.  It worked for a while to deter them

Our yard became a jungle towards the end but a beautiful one.
